Olawole Tunmise Olagbaju is deeply committed to capacity building for the next generation of livestock professionals through the Young Cattle Ranchers Internship Programme (YOCARAIP). This initiative provides hands-on training in modern cattle, goat, and sheep production for students and young professionals, equipping them with the skills needed to thrive in agribusiness. YOCARAIP has already trained over 20 interns, fostering a new wave of livestock entrepreneurs and experts. Currently, he is developing a 200-hectare youth cluster goat and sheep production project, designed to engage 200 young farmers in sustainable livestock production. Each youth will manage one hectare, with structured pasture systems, housing, and technical support. The project aims to enhance local and international meat and milk markets while integrating advanced breeding techniques to improve productivity. Through these initiatives, Olagbaju is actively shaping the future of livestock production in Nigeria by empowering young professionals with the knowledge, skills, and opportunities to succeed in the industry.

Olawole Tunmise Olagbaju is a seasoned livestock scientist and reproductive biotechnologist with expertise in cattle, goat, and sheep fertility, synchronization protocols, estrous profiling and artificial insemination. He holds an MSc in Animal Science from Bowen University, Iwo, where he researched the efficacy of vaginal electrical resistance measurement in West African Dwarf goats.

As the Managing Director of Real People Concept and Project Lead at RPC Cattle Hub, Olagbaju has been instrumental in modernizing livestock production through research, training, and breed improvement programs. His work spans dairy and beef value chain management, reproductive ultrasonography, and the development of sustainable livestock technologies. He has trained over 4,000 farmers, students, and professionals in modern ruminant production and artificial reproductive techniques.

Olagbaju is a member of several professional bodies, including the Nigerian Society of Animal Production, Animal Science Association of Nigeria, Society for Animal Reproduction and Improvement, and the FAO Sustainable Livestock Technical Network. His contributions to livestock development have been recognized internationally, including his engagement with the Committee on World Food Security and FAO.
