The findings in this brief have been adapted from the FAO report The State of Food Security and Nutrition in the World 2021. Transforming food systems for food security, improved nutrition and affordable healthy diets for all . The case studies for this compendium were received from the participants of "The Call for best practices in transforming food systems for affordable healthy diets and addressing key drivers of food insecurity and malnutrition" that took place on the FAO's Global Forum on Food Security and Nutrition (FSN Forum) in February-March 2021.
