Global Forum on Food Security and Nutrition (FSN Forum)

The FSN Forum gathers a wide range of information from various sources that provide insights into many aspects of food security and nutrition, and food systems. Do not hesitate to share these resources widely with your professional networks, and feel free to contact us if you have relevant material you think should be included.

Consultation summaries are produced by the FSN Forum team and provide an analysis on the main issues that emerged during online consultations. They offer an impartial overview of the positions shared during each exchange and include a list of resources that were shared by the participants.

Newsletters provide FSN Forum members with updates about policy development processes and policy documents that have benefited from feedback shared by stakeholders through FSN Forum activities.

Policy documents are produced by FAO or external partners and benefitted from contributions by participants of FSN Forum activities

FAO and external partners produce technical and policy reports and briefs on food security and nutrition, and food systems. The FSN Forum selects the most valuable publications to share with its members.

FAO and other organizations develop and maintain training courses, tools, maps and databases that provide concrete technical information and support relevant to a specific field of work. The FSN Forum provides members with information on openly accessible resources, including weblinks.

The FAO flagship “The State of the World” publications provide a comprehensive overview of the most pressing global issues and challenges affecting the world today. They include: The State of World Fisheries and Aquaculture (SOFIA), The State of the World’s Forests (SOFO), The State of Food Security and Nutrition in the World (SOFI), The State of Food and Agriculture (SOFA), and The State of Agricultural Commodity Markets (SOCO).
