Dr. Mohammad Shameem Al Mamun
Dr Mohammad Shameem Al Mamun is a Principal Scientist at the Bangladesh Tea Research Institute. He completed his BScAg (Hons) and Master of Science in Entomology from Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh. He earned his PhD from Shahjalal University of Science & Technology, Sylhet, and completed a postdoc at Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka. He has more than 100 publications, including four international books/book chapters. Dr Mamun attended many national & international seminars, symposiums, and conferences at home and abroad. He also associated with different national and international professional organizations and societies such as Krishibid Institution, Bangladesh; Bangladesh Entomological Society; Weed Science Society of Bangladesh; Bangladesh Botanical Society; Zoological Society of Bangladesh; Entomological Society of America; Tea Professional Welfare Society, Bangladesh; The Acarological Society of Iran; Bangladesh Association for the Advancement of Science; and Asian Council of Science Editors. He has made many remarkable innovations that have advanced the smart tea industry in Bangladesh.
