Implementing the Saint Lucia Fisheries Sectoral Adaptation Strategy Action Plan (SASAP)

Saint Lucia’s Nationally Designated Authority NDA) has appointed FAO as the Accredited Entity (AE) to support the development of the “Implementing the Saint Lucia Fisheries Sectoral Adaptation Strategy Action Plan (SASAP”) project (Funding Proposal). 

The requested Project Preparation Facility (PPF) focuses on meeting the GCF technical requirements/technical annexes to the Funding Proposal (FP). Building directly on the existing Concept Note and pre-feasibility study and in parallel to the further development of the FP document, the PPF support will facilitate the completion of the following activities:

• Climate modelling and vulnerability study (including assessment to establish credible baselines and targets)
• Feasibility study (including market analysis and assessment of expected adaptation benefits and beneficiaries)
• Gender analysis and action plan
• Stakeholder consultations and engagement plan
• Environmental and Social Safeguards (ESS) document corresponding to the ESS category
• Economic and financial analysis
• Monitoring and evaluation plan
• Development of Theory of Change and logframe.
