Objective / Goal The goal of this readiness is to support Georgia on its low-emission and climate- resilient pathway of the agriculture sector in line with the country’s commitments under the Paris Agreement through the improvement of national capacity and enhancement of the strategic framework to create enabling environment for increased low-emission ambition in the agriculture sector.

This GCF readiness proposal will provide an opportunity for Georgia to address climate change adaptation and mitigation in the agriculture sector, by enhancing the effectiveness of NDA through its capacity building and addressing policy gaps, improve sectoral expertise, and enhance enabling environments for low-emission development of agriculture sector in Georgia.
