Communications and Public Relations

The FAO in Georgia Communications Team plays a pivotal role in enhancing the visibility and impact of the Organization’s work across the country. Through strategic communication initiatives, the team promotes awareness of FAO's projects, priorities, and achievements among diverse stakeholders, including government institutions, development partners, civil society, and the general public. By producing high-quality content—ranging from press releases and feature stories to multimedia materials and social media campaigns—the team ensures consistent and engaging messaging that aligns with FAO’s global communication standards. It also provides communication support for events, field missions, and advocacy campaigns, helping to amplify voices from the ground and highlight the transformative work of FAO in agriculture, food security, rural development, and sustainability. Through proactive media engagement and stakeholder collaboration, the Communications Team contributes to building trust, fostering dialogue, and strengthening the impact of FAO’s mission in Georgia.
