Rural Development

The FAO Georgia Rural Development team is committed to fostering gender-responsive and socially inclusive rural development and sustainable agriculture by prioritizing diversity, equity, and empowerment. Through targeted programs and partnerships, the team supports the creation of inclusive agricultural value chains that enhance livelihoods while respecting environmental sustainability. By integrating gender-sensitive approaches and encouraging youth engagement, they aim to build resilient rural communities and collaborate closely with local stakeholders to promote social inclusion, reduce disparities, and foster sustainable growth across Georgia’s rural areas.
