The GFCM authorized vessel list (AVL) is the GFCM database where information on fishing vessels more than 15 metres in length overall (LOA) authorized to fish in the GFCM area of application is stored. Vessels more than 15 metres LOA that are not entered into the record are deemed not to be authorized to fish for, retain on board, transship or land species covered by the Commission.
