As of mid-August 2015, Vietnam has lowered the minimum export price for 25% broken rice by 2.9 percent in order to boost exports. The new minimum price has been set at USD 330 per tonne (free on board, FOB), down from the previous price of USD 340 per tonne, which was in effect since early June 2015.
