La Autoridad Europea de Seguridad Alimentaria (EFSA) realizó dos seminarios web sobre el uso del sistema de clasificación FoodEx2 en septiembre y octubre de 2018. FoodEx2 es un sistema completo de clasificación y descripción de alimentos con el objetivo de describir los alimentos de manera armonizada.

Another round of webinars will be conducted this year with the aim of presenting the new prototype of the FAO/WHO GIFT platform to potential end-users and collect their feedback. The webinars will also provide an update on the status of collection, collation and dissemination of dietary data.
