Kampala, Uganda — on Tuesday, 25th August, 2026, a high-level stakeholder workshop was convened in Uganda to review and validate the final draft of the policy coherence analytical framework using public expenditure analysis developed through the UN-REDD Programme. 

During the week of 7 to 12 September, a delegation from the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the Corporation for the Sustainable Development of the Southern Amazon (Corpoamazonía) carried out a field mission to the Paraíso Amazónico Forest and Biodiversity Development Hub (NDFyB) in the municipality of Solano, Caquetá Department.

In the hills of Serra Malagueta, on Santiago Island in Cabo Verde, keeping soil on the slopes is part of keeping farming possible.
