Kazakhstan has started working with FAO to modernize its agricultural statistics with the support of the AGRISurvey programme.
The programme will provide capacity-building activities on the development and adaptation of questionnaires in line with AGRISurvey methodology, and the development of a Master Sampling Frame. Central and local institutions will receive trainings on the implementation of the agricultural data collection and on data analysis.
AGRISurvey will support the Ministry of Agriculture and the Statistical Committee in the calculation and dissemination of relevant SDG results.
