FAO provides technical assistance and support to Uruguay for implementing AGRISurvey.
In particular AGRISurvey programme is supporting the country in:
- Strengthening the system of national agricultural surveys by improving the quality and expanding the scope of ongoing surveys using the AGRIS methodology to respond to the requirements of SDGs related to agriculture;
- Improving the efficiency of the system of agricultural statistics by assessing the quality of the administrative registries and how they could be used in a system of integrated surveys;
- Implementing new technologies such as such as Computer Assisted Personal Interviewing (CAPI), and Computer Assisted Web Interviewing (CAWI).
