FAO’s Global Forest Resources Assessment 2025 – comprehensive new information on the world’s forests

The latest global report on forests by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations has some encouraging findings but cautions that continued commitment is needed if forests are to be conserved, restored and sustainably managed.
