The project “Building Capacities through South-South Cooperation (SSTC)” provides a tailor-made modality supporting key thematic areas of the FAO-Türkiye Partnership Programme on Food and Agriculture (FTPP II) and the FAO-Türkiye Forestry Partnership Programme (FTFP), specifically through the deployment of Turkish SSTC experts to project sites, as needed and requested by the beneiciary countries.

The "Sustainable Beekeeping and Exchange of Cooperation between Türkiye and Ukraine" project, part of the FAO-Türkiye Partnership Programme on Food and Agriculture (FTPP II), enhances sustainable apiculture with a USD 200,000 budget. It addresses key challenges like bee health, pesticide risks, and market access, while fostering collaboration between the two nations. The project focuses on three core outputs: policy recommendations for sustainable beekeeping, a roadmap for spatial information exchange, and capacity building for educators through modernized training and knowledge-sharing.

The project titled "Enhancing agricultural land market development to address land abandonment and improve land consolidation procedures" aims to support the introduction of a land banking instrument in connection with an ongoing land consolidation programme in Türkiye and a planned programme in Azerbaijan, and assess the need for land market development and the feasibility of land management instruments in Uzbekistan.
