The Brazil–FAO Trilateral South-South Cooperation Programme on School Feeding recognizes that the exchange of successful experiences among countries is a strategic pillar for strengthening public policies and promoting local development.

By sharing knowledge on the various components of School Feeding Programmes (SFP), such as governance, financing, legal and regulatory frameworks, public procurement from family farming, food and nutrition education, school gardens, and school infrastructure, participating countries have the opportunity to observe implementation practices firsthand, identify common challenges, and adapt successful solutions to their own national contexts.
