Integrated Monitoring Evaluation System Training
(Indonesia), 28/01/2025 - 29/01/2025
FAO ECTAD Indonesia manages multiple projects simultaneously and must ensure the timely implementation of work plans and achievement of objectives across its portfolio. To enhance the efficiency of project management and ensure real-time documentation—spanning work plan monitoring, Terms of Reference (ToR) development, progress tracking, and reporting—ECTAD requires a robust and integrated Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) system.
The M&E division is tasked with leading the development of such a system, enabling the management and technical teams to effectively support activity implementation, monitoring, and reporting. To achieve this, FAO ECTAD engaged an IT consultant experienced in software and information system development to assist in accelerating the establishment of the Integrated Monitoring and Evaluation System (IMES).
Currently, IMES version 2.0 has been developed and is ready for use by ECTAD team members for comprehensive monitoring and evaluation of program implementation. To ensure effective adoption, a two-day internal training course is planned for ECTAD staff. This training will focus on equipping the team to fully utilize IMES v2.0 for quality and timely monitoring and reporting.
Additionally, the training will serve as a platform to disseminate and standardize planning and reporting business processes (Standard Operating Procedures) across all ECTAD staff. This initiative extends beyond the GHSP project to encompass all projects managed by the ECTAD Program, establishing a unified foundation for operational excellence.
