The third FGD on animal quarantine traceability system

The objective of this mission on the 3rd Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on Strategic Coordination for Developing Traceability Policies under the project TCP/INS/3906 aims to achieve several key objectives in the development of traceability policies, specifically in regard to safety and quality of livestock animal feed which are imported into Indonesia. This FGD aims to gather information and highlights the project's commitment to thoroughly understanding current practices and collaboratively formulating and implementing traceability policies. This is to be accomplished by addressing the following objects:
1. To bring together representatives from the Ministry of Agriculture (KEMENTAN), the Ministry of Industry (KEMENPERIN), the Ministry of Trade (KEMENDAG), Indonesian National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN), the Ministry of National Development Planning/National Development Planning Agency (BAPPENAS), and Indonesian livestock animal feed stakeholders to foster a collaborative environment for policy development.
2. To determine the essential elements required for an effective traceability system in regard to safety and quality of livestock animal feed which are imported into Indonesia, including data collection, management practices, regulatory frameworks, and technological innovations.
3. To develop a comprehensive roadmap for the implementation of livestock animal feed traceability policies, outlining clear steps and responsibilities for all stakeholders involved.
4. To leverage the expertise and experiences of participants to ensure that policy recommendations are grounded in evidence and best practices, facilitating informed decision-making.
