Validation workshop of Country Programme Framework (CPF) 2026-2030

In regards with the FAO policy, the Country Office have to prepare and formulate the Country Programming Framework (CPF) as a strategic plan for technical support by FAO to country members in partnership spirit. FAO in Indonesia will continue to provide strategic technical support for the Government of Indonesia to jointly identify the strategic development priorities of agricultural, fisheries and forestry sectors and to use their environmental and natural resources in a sustainable way.

The Country Programming Framework is geared to formulate the strategy how FAO in partnership spirit with GOI to obtain the optimum advantages from FAO technical expertise in meeting its agricultural, food security and rural development priorities. In this context, FAO will work to support the achievement of the 2030 Agenda by promoting food systems to meet the aspiration of “Leaving No One Behind” through more sustainable, inclusive and above all resilient food systems through four betters (better production, better nutrition, a better environment, and a better life) that are all relevant to the mentioned country context of Indonesia.

Currently, the CPF document has been entering an initial final formulation stage. The zero draft has been prepared and is ready to be shared with the government toward the input.

In view the immediate need for the finalization  of the CPF 2026-2030, FAO Indonesia in coordination with the International Cooperation Bureau of the Ministry of Agriculture as the Head of CPF Secretariat is holding a half day validation workshop for the CPF (2026-2030) Document in Jakarta on 2 December 2025.
