Projects and Programmes

FAO Mozambique, in close collaboration with the Government of Mozambique and development partners, is implementing strategic programmes that support national priorities for agricultural development, food security and sustainable livelihoods. Working across key sectors (including agriculture, livestock, forestry, fisheries and aquaculture) FAO promotes best practices that advance the transformation of agrifood systems, improve productivity and enhance resilience to climate and economic shocks. These efforts contribute to boosting nutrition and food security while improving the livelihoods of rural communities, particularly smallholder farmers, women and youth. Through its interventions, FAO supports inclusive and sustainable development, ensuring that no one is left behind.
