WFD 1994: WATER FOR LIFE
This video is not available online
Fresh water represents less than 1% of the earth's volume, yet it irrigates rice fields in Asia, thunders down waterfalls in Morocco, meanders through low lands in Nepal and bears the silt of the Nile, Egypt's lifeblood. The mismanagement of water represents a serious threat to the life of our planet, and as the world's population continues to grow, problems linked to water shortage and quality must be faced.
