Founded in 2008, the “Alysh Dan” cooperative brings together 63 family farmers managing 127 hectares of apricot orchards in Kyrgyzstan’s Batken region. The cooperative focuses on the sustainable production and value-added processing of dried apricots, contributing to rural development and economic resilience in the region. Description of the practice:
In 2024, the cooperative processed 18 tons of dried apricots and finalized construction of the logistics center. It sells its products through eco-stores in Bishkek and the “One Village One Product” retail network, while actively seeking access to international markets. Other activities:
