Latin America and the Carabin Regional Water Dialogue, 2024.

Water is a vital component for achieving the 2030 Agenda. As a result, the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) promotes Dialogue and exchange within the framework of the Regional Action Agenda for Water to promote sustainable and inclusive water resources for all. 

In this regard, FAO Regional Representative for Latin America and the Caribbean, Mr. Mario Lubetkin had the opportunity to participate in the 4th Edition of the Water Dialogues organized by ECLAC on March 11. 

In line with the priority axes defined by the Regional Coordination Group for Latin America and the Caribbean for participation in the 10th World Water Forum, ECLAC organized this high-level ministerial Dialogue under the theme "Regional Water Dialogues 2024" from March 11 to 13, 2024. The main objective of this Dialogue was to promote good practices and present the progress made in achieving SDG 6 in the region to ensure water availability, sustainable management, and sanitation for all.
