Supporting the livelihoods of vulnerable fishers in Sri Lanka

Small-scale fishers in Sri Lanka have faced several challenges that threatened their food and nutrition security this year. In response, FAO through funding from UN-CERF provided emergency cash assistance to over 7 000 of these fishers in six of the poorest fisheries districts.
