FAO seeks to mainstream SSTC at corporate and operational levels and is optimizing the impact and visibility of SSTC across the regions, sub-regions and countries, including through strengthening relationships with partners, towards achieving the SDGs. Close engagement with countries and regions, resource partners as well as with FAO streams/offices/centers, is critical for improving the SSTC modality mechanism.
Sustainable agricultural development lies at the very heart of FAO’s mission to achieve food security and ensure that people everywhere have regular access to enough high-quality food to lead active and healthy lives.
