FAO seeks to mainstream SSTC at corporate and operational levels and is optimizing the impact and visibility of SSTC across the regions, sub-regions and countries, including through strengthening relationships with partners, towards achieving the SDGs. Close engagement with countries and regions, resource partners as well as with FAO streams/offices/centers, is critical for improving the SSTC modality mechanism.
20 August 2013, Buenos Aires/Rome - FAO Director General José Graziano da Silva highlighted the potential of South-South Cooperation and reiterated FAO's commitment "to strengthen and channel exchanges between Latin America and Sub-Saharan Africa with the aim to adopt, adapt and broaden best practices that promote agricultural development"...
