FAO Investment Centre support the World Bank in Nigeria’s Second National Fadama Development Project

With design support provided by the FAO Investment Centre Division, a World Bank project has helped Nigeria boost incomes for over 3 million farm families in 12 Nigerian states by 63 percent from between 2005 and 2009, through community empowerment, participatory development planning and support for demand-driven productive investments in farm and non-farm activities including community infrastructure.
