The Cracking the Nut 2016 Conference on Regenerating Rural and Agricultural Development will take place in Washington, DC from 1 to 2 March 2016, jointly organized by the Inter-American Development Bank, USAID, Catholic Relief Services and the consultancy firm Connexus. This two-day learning event will highlight the changes being made to regenerate rural and agricultural market development and financial inclusion in developing countries. The conference will showcase selected best practices in three main areas: i) regenerating rural and agricultural landscapes; ii) financing environmentally sustainable development; and (iii) encouraging investment in climate-smart agriculture
