Virtual event, an inception meeting of the Food Loss and Waste Strategy Committee of Central Asia, Azerbaijan and Turkey under the project “Reduction of Food Loss and Waste in the SEC Countries” will be organized on Wednesday, 25 November 2020 at 10.30 (GMT+3).

The meeting aims to establish the Food Loss and Waste Strategy Committee of Central Asia, Azerbaijan and Turkey, elaborate and validate the terms of reference for the Committee, and discuss the next steps. The Committee, an intergovernmental body, will bring together representatives of the Ministries of Agriculture of the participating countries - Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan - to determine strategies and direction for food loss and waste reduction in the regional context and oversee the development and implementation of the Project.
