This open event, which will take place in the context of the UN Inter–Agency Support Group on Indigenous Peoples' Issues (IASG) annual meeting in Rome, will be an opportunity to reflect with important Indigenous Peoples' representatives about the link between Indigenous Peoples' rights to lands and resources and the protection of their traditional food systems. The High-level panellists include among others the UN Special Rapporteur on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, members of the United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues, and the Chair of the Indigenous Peoples Youth Network.
