Expert consultation on measurement of food consumption (11 November afternoon session)

Iraq Room (FAO Headquarters)
11.11.2016
 Rome time

FAO and the WB have initiated a collaborative effort to identify and disseminate best practices for food consumption measurement for low and middle-income countries.

The objective of the workshop is to present a set of draft guidelines on food consumption measurement and submit them to a public process of review and validation. The goal is to submit them to the UNSC   for endorsement. That would allow them to be a reference document for practitioners and an instrument for promoting international harmonization of survey instruments and comparability of the resulting data.
