Asociación Cubana de Producción Animal (ACPA)
The Cuban Association of Animal Production (ACPA) is the organisation, created in 1974, that brings together producers, breeders, researchers and professors related to animal production and industry. Its mission is to contribute with its actions, experiences and resources to the human, technical and productive sustainable development in the field of animal production and industry.
The Association has autonomous managerial, financial and technical capacity, supported by a consolidated organisational structure and sufficient infrastructure at all levels, which promotes continuous improvement through training, technology transfer and communication that meets the needs of stakeholders.
It cooperates in the sustainable technical development of animal production chains, stimulates the most efficient results and facilitates the marketing of its products through the Genealogical Register and Agricultural Fairs. Due to its practical and educational usefulness and its social contribution, it is widely recognised nationally and internationally.
