Universidad Nacional del Comahue (UNComa)

The Universidad Nacional del Comahue is a public university in Argentina, distributed among the provinces of Neuquén, Río Negro, with its headquarters located in the city of Neuquén.
The University has twelve faculties and two university settlements, a high school and two regional centres scattered in several cities in the provinces of Neuquén and Río Negro. A total of 76 degree courses are offered, with more than 35,000 active students.

Instituto de Biología Marina y Pesquera Almirante Storni (IBMP) is a research organization dependent on the "Universidad Nacional de Comahue" and the "Ministerio de Producción de Río Negro". Its basic goals are to investigate and advise the Provincial Fisheries Administration on the management strategy for fishing resources, as well as carry out extension activities, training and transfer of knowledge and provision of services to the private and state sectors.
