AGRIS The International System for Agricultural Science and Technology – Data provider guide

Abstract

The AGRIS database contains millions of bibliographic records on food and agricultural scientific literature in over 90 languages. The data or records in the database are contributed by a global network of data providers – including publishers, governments, academic institutions, non-governmental and intergovernmental organizations, and international and national organizations from 150 countries. The records are provided in multilingual formats and frequently include full text links to the actual resources, be they books, journal articles, book chapters, monographs, datasets or grey literature spanning unpublished scientific and technical reports, theses, dissertations and conference papers.

As AGRIS continues to grow and evolve, this guide aims to inform the AGRIS community, in particular the data providers, on all aspects of engaging with AGRIS, from joining the AGRIS Network to contributing the data efficiently to the database.
