FAOTERM
FAOTERM is FAO's main and largest terminology collection. It includes technical terminology from all the FAO areas of work, as well as titles (slogans, publications, etc.) and names of bodies (commissions, committees, etc.) from FAO and other entities (see the list of subjects below).
As of November 2023, FAOTERM comprises more than 72 000 records, most of which provide equivalents in the six FAO official languages. It also includes scientific names for taxonomies as well as some terms in non-FAO languages, such as German, Italian and Portuguese.
FAOTERM is maintained by the Terminology Team in the Language Branch (CSGL).
