Marchés publics verts:
Utilisation de critères environnementaux par les autorités pour fournir des biens, services et travaux ayant des impacts environnements réduits au cours de leur cycle de vie. Les marchés publics verts concernent à la fois les autorités et les entités compétentes.
Gel des terres agricoles volontaire:
Les propriétaires des terres abandonnent volontairement leur droit d’utilisation d’une partie ou de toutes leurs terres agricoles, en échange de paiements.
Concessions de conservation:
Contrats de gestion des terres entre un gouvernement ou un propriétaire terrien et un acheteur soucieux de la conservation. Cet acheteur utilisera les terres en question dans une optique de conservation et garantira leur protection, au moins pendant la période considérée, en échange d’une compensation financière.
Paiements directs pour les services écosystémiques :
Les bénéficiaires des services écosystémiques compensent/paient directement les fournisseurs pour qu’ils gèrent de façon durable les terres fournissant ces services. Les paiements dépendent des résultats et/ou performances au niveau de services écosystémiques spécifiques, résultant d’actions définies pour les améliorer.

Direct Payments for Ecosystem Services (PES):
Beneficiaries of ecosystem services directly pay/ compensate providers to sustainably manage land to provide ecosystem services. Payments are conditional on specific ecosystem services outcomes and/or performance of agreed actions to enhance ecosystem services.
