FAO/FTA consultation on Supplementary guidelines for addressing forestry and agroforestry in National Adaptation Plans

2 May 2018, Bonn, Germany

FAO and the CGIAR research program on Forests, trees and agroforestry (FTA) organises a consultation on Wednesday 2 May to discuss the Supplementary guidelines for addressing forestry and agroforestry in National Adaptation Plans.

While the framework aims to provide guidance to practitioners conducting vulnerability assessments, to ensure that all critical areas are considered and to facilitate the choice and use of appropriate tools and methods; the objective of the supplementary guidelines is to facilitate intersectoral policy dialogue that fully integrates forests and trees in adaptation planning of all sectors.

The consultation is held in cooperation with the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and takes place in Room #BF20045, Saal A, GIZ, Friedrich-Ebert-Allee 40, Bonn, Germany.
