La labor de la FAO nunca es solitaria. Nuestra idea fundamental defiende que, para elaborar e implantar políticas eficaces, se necesita un diálogo inclusivo. La FAO juega un papel decisivo de apoyo al implicar a las partes interesadas en el diálogo sobre políticas; la redacción de normas y estándares; el fomento de asociaciones productivas; la recopilación, el análisis y la diseminación de datos y de información; y la movilización de los recursos necesarios para lograr un cambio para la transformación.

Este motor de búsqueda permite acceder a la amplísima gama y al enorme volumen de mecanismos de políticas en los que participa la Organización. La FAO interviene como organizadora, fijando la agenda y actuando como secretaría, o como socio estratégico, aportando conocimientos y experiencia, facilitando las deliberaciones y contribuyendo a la formulación de planes de acción.
