The FAO GM Foods Platform is an online community of practice set up to share information on the safety assessment of foods derived from recombinant-DNA plants.
The Global Community Meeting will focus on sharing national regulatory good practices and lessons-learnt in the food safety assessment process with a view to strengthening the capacities and understanding of less experienced countries in regards to GM food safety assessments.
The meeting will provide an opportunity for community members to establish contacts and networks around the world.
