The National Institute of Agricultural Research (Instituto Nacional de Investigaciones Agrícolas, INIA) is a public agricultural research institution in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. The Instituto Nacional de Investigaciones Agrícolas (INIA) serves as a national reference centre for plant and animal health, agricultural diagnostics, and technology development, offering services such as fito‑ and zoosanitary diagnostics, seed certification, soil and water analysis, and food and feed testing. It conducts scientific research and innovation aimed at improving sustainable agriculture, agroecosystems management, and the use of genetic resources in Venezuelan agriculture, supporting farmers, policymakers, and rural development initiatives.
