IIAP is a scientific and technological research institution conceived to achieve the sustainable development of the Amazonian population, with emphasis on the rural, specialized in the conservation and correct use of natural resources in the Amazon region. IIAP carries out its activities in a decentralized manner, promoting institutional and organized civil society participation.
