The Comisión Nacional de Acuacultura y Pesca is an administrative body of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (SADER). It is the dependence of the federal government responsible for implementing public fisheries and aquaculture policies in Mexico. It works together with the National Institute of Fisheries and Aquaculture (IMIPAS) in the same matter.
