The Antenor Orrego Private University (Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego, UPAO) is a private university located in Trujillo, Peru. It was founded in 1969 and is one of the most important private universities in the northern region of the country. Its name honors the renowned Peruvian jurist and politician Antenor Orrego, who was an advocate for the development of education in the country.
