University of Granada (UGR)
إسبانيا
The Universidad de Granada is a public university based in Granada, was founded in 1531 by Charles I of Spain and V of Germany, continuing a long teaching tradition linked to that of the Madrasa of the last Nasrid Kingdom.
There are four university campuses in Granada, in addition to the ‘Campus Centro’, which integrates all the centres scattered throughout the historic city centre. The UGR's policy of restoring buildings of historical and cultural value has enriched its heritage, while also promoting their restoration and maintenance. Alongside this defence of traditional elements, the Health Sciences Technology Park, still under development, represents a firm commitment to innovation, promoting interaction with technology-based bio-health companies and promoting quality healthcare and biomedical knowledge. There are two other UGR campuses in the cities of Ceuta and Melilla, in North Africa.
