In 1987, the Parliament of Navarre approved the creation of the Universidad Pública de Navarra / Nafarroako Unibertsitate Publikoa (UPNA). The teaching and research activities of the Public University of Navarra are carried out on three campuses, two of which are located in Pamplona and one in Tudela, in the region of Comunidad Foral de Navarra.
