The Nature Research Centre (NRC) (Gamtos tyrimų centras (GTC)) is a state research institute conducting scientific research and experimental development in the field of natural sciences. NRC carry out long-term research and experimental (social, cultural) development in ecology, botany, mycology, microbiology, virology, zoology, parasitology and geosciences relevant for the continuity and development of the country’s economy, culture, health care and society.
