North-Caucasus Federal University (NCFU)

The North-Caucasus Federal University (NCFU), established in 2012 through the merger of North-Caucasus State Technical University, Stavropol State University, and Pyatigorsk University for Humanities and Technology, is a major center of education and research in the North Caucasus region of Russia. The university enrolls over 30,000 students and employs more than 2,000 academic staff across a wide range of faculties and institutes, covering engineering, natural sciences, humanities, economics, law, medicine, and technology. NCFU maintains active international cooperation with universities and research institutions in Europe, Asia, and North America, and hosts students from numerous countries. The university continues the rich academic and cultural legacy of its predecessor institutions, focusing on regional development, innovation, and research in areas such as engineering, energy, agriculture, and social sciences, while serving as a hub for fostering education, innovation, and international collaboration.
