The Federal Scientific Agroengineering Center VIM is the leading research center of the country in the field of agroengineering science, machine-technological modernization of the national agriculture and the implementation of the latest new generation intelligent and robotic technologies in agricultural production.
It was established as a result of a reorganization in 2016, which combined the All-Union Research Institute of Agricultural Mechanization (VIM) with other scientific institutions, such as VIESH and GOSNITI. Today, it serves as a hub for seven scientific institutions across Russia, driving innovation in agricultural machinery, intelligent and robotic technologies, and the implementation of new technologies in agriculture.
