The University of Food Technologies, Plovdiv, is a higher education institution in Bulgaria, where university-level education in Food Science and Technology began in September 1948 with the establishment of the Department of Agricultural Technology. This initiative marked the beginning of specialised higher education in food technology in the country.

The university publishes Food Science and Applied Biotechnology (FSAB; e-ISSN 2603-3380), an international, peer-reviewed, open-access scientific journal.
